I began designing mobile products in Tokyo before modern smartphones existed, building applications for Japanese feature phones years before iOS and Android. That experience shaped how I design within constraints, systems, and real-world usage.

Over two decades, I have designed consumer and enterprise platforms across Japan and the US, including work at Rakuten, eBay, T-Mobile, Fox TV Japan, MTV Japan, and Microsoft. Today, I focus on human-centered AI, trust, and platform UX, designing systems that help people understand, control, and rely on complex technology.

Currently at Microsoft, designing AI and Trust experiences across systems, AI behavior, and human trust.
